Responsibilities:
• Oversee the assembly line for Li-ion cells, ensuring streamlined operations, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to production schedules.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to integrate new assembly techniques or improvements into the manufacturing process.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeted at enhancing production efficiency, minimizing defects, and optimizing costs.
• Implement rigorous quality control protocols, ensuring that assembled Li-ion cells meet or surpass required specifications.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability and quality of assembly components.
• Uphold stringent safety standards across the assembly line, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and external regulations.
• Foster collaborative efforts with other production segments, particularly electrode manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration and product quality.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the assembly manufacturing team, instilling a culture of innovation, teamwork, and safety.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on assembly line metrics, ensuring transparency and keeping senior management informed.
• Engage in negotiations and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers, vendors, and other external partners relevant to assembly processes.

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or specialized courses in battery technology would be an advantage.
• Certifications in production management or lean manufacturing can be beneficial

Experience
• Minimum of 12-18 years in manufacturing, with a significant focus on Li-ion cell assembly or similar high-tech assembly lines.
• Proven expertise in managing complex assembly processes and optimizing production operations.
• In-depth understanding of Li-ion cell assembly techniques, processes, and relevant equipment.
• Leadership skills with a capability to inspire, guide, and manage teams.
• Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Adaptive nature with a willingness to integrate emerging technologies into the assembly line.
• Strong commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Effective communication prowess, apt for liaising with both technical teams and higher management.
• Collaborative approach, facilitating smooth interactions across different departments and external entities.
