Job Summary
We are looking for a hybrid Quality Assurance + Business Analyst professional to work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to deliver high-quality software products. You will gather and translate business requirements into actionable specifications and ensure product quality through automation testing, with the ability to leverage AI-powered QA tools for efficiency. Our stack includes Databricks, Golang backend, and React UI.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
 Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.
 Translate requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
 Collaborate with the development team to ensure a shared understanding of features.
 Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT sessions.
 Use Databricks knowledge to understand data workflows and business logic for better requirement mapping.
Quality Assurance
 Create, maintain, and execute automation test scripts for frontend (React), backend APIs (Golang), and data pipelines (Databricks).
 Use AI-assisted QA tools to accelerate test case creation, defect prediction, and root- cause analysis.
 Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
 Implement API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) and database validation (SQL, Spark SQL).
 Maintain defect logs and track resolution in tools like Jira.
 Contribute to setting up and improving CI/CD-integrated automated testing pipelines.

Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance roles.
 Strong automation experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
 Experience with AI-assisted QA tools
 Familiarity with Databricks workflows and data validation.
 API testing experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
 Understanding of React UI testing (Cypress/Playwright) and backend API testing
for Golang services.
 Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices.

Preferred Skills
 Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
 Understanding of Spark SQL for validating data in Databricks.
 Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
 ISTQB or IIBA certification is a plus.
