Scrum Master
Project Duration: 1 Year
Preferred location is the East Coast, with West Coast and Central regions as secondary options.
Responsibilities:
• Working with the product owner to ensure the team are delivering on refined stories in a prioritized fashion to maximum business benefit
• Facilitate agile processes including: sprint iteration planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives and release planning
• Ensure removal of team level impediments and escalates non-team level blockers to conclusion
• Facilitate group meetings such as workshops.
• Act as liaison between multiple business teams, technology teams and vendors to facilitate communications and support a shared vision of delivered functionality
• Maintain appropriate project documentation
• Timely communication of project statuses
Qualifications:
• 4 to 5 years of Scrum Master experience with a Software Development team
• Project management experience in the financial services or technology industry
• Experience managing multiple/combined complex projects in a successful program
• Scrum Alliance CSM (required) CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP) Scrum Alliance CSM (required) CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP) preferred
• MS Office, MS Project, JIRA and Confluence
• Verbal and Written communication skills
• Consensus building and negotiating skills
