The gird is evolving at a rapid pace. Coal and combined-cycle gas plants are being replaced by wind power, solar power, batteries and simple-cycle gas plants. The electric grid power flows and prices change in real time. Data analyses are required to answer basic questions about the change in energy volatility and pricing.
Specific skills and experience include the following:
Undergraduate degree in engineering or engineering science
3-5 years' experience
knowledge of the power sector preferred but not necessary
