Overview
We are seeking candidates to serve as a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience for a Department of Defense (DoD) program onsite at Point Mugu Naval Air Station in Camarillo, CA. Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
Ability to work independently or lead a small team, self-starter
Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Project, MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Education:
MS or MA degree in Systems Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 4 years of relevant work experience, with a bachelor's degree, may be substituted for a master's degree
Clearance:
Condition of employment - must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Citizenship:
The applicant must have US citizenship at time of application.
