Project Manager – Artificial Intelligence Initiatives
Our client is leading the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) across the organization to drive smarter decision-making, operational efficiency, and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of AI-focused projects within this fast-evolving space.
This role blends technology project management discipline with the strategic agility and creativity required to support AI initiatives that span multiple business and technology domains. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, adaptable project leader who is passionate about emerging technologies, particularly AI and Generative AI, and thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent AI projects across the firm.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations aligned with program objectives.
• Manage project interdependencies, track deliverables, and coordinate efforts across both business and technology teams.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Facilitate project meetings, prepare executive-level updates, and provide clear, actionable reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Communicate complex AI and technical concepts in clear, business-relevant language for diverse stakeholders.

Governance & Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate critical issues for timely resolution.
• Support documentation, compliance, and operational readiness for AI tools and systems throughout the product lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Champion best practices in Agile project management, experimentation, and iterative delivery.
• Contribute to the development of internal playbooks, templates, and governance frameworks for AI projects.
• Continuously evaluate opportunities to enhance delivery processes and strengthen collaboration between technology and business teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience managing technology projects, ideally in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• PMP or PMI certification preferred.
• Proven experience delivering projects involving emerging technologies, data platforms, AI/ML initiatives, or enterprise architecture.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Ability to translate technical AI concepts into actionable business terms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related productivity tools.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
