We are seeking a talented Audio-Visual (AV) Engineer to join our dynamic AV team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Engineering Manager, Sales Staff, and Operations Team to design, estimate, and document innovative AV solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creativity and attention to detail, developing designs that translate client requirements into functional, cost-effective systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, estimate, and propose a wide range of audio-visual systems tailored to customer needs and budgets.
• Develop detailed AutoCAD drawing sets, including line diagrams, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), elevations, risers, and detailed schematics.
• Prepare comprehensive proposal and drawing packages that ensure accurate execution and profitable project delivery.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to translate conceptual designs into actionable project documentation.
• Apply technical experience and adapt to evolving company processes to continuously improve efficiency and quality.
• Support a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment focused on high-quality results.
• Operate as an integral member of the pre-sales department, contributing to solution design and project success.

Required Skills & Experience

• Several years of experience designing, estimating, commissioning, or installing AV systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, including creation of line diagrams, floor plans, elevations, risers, and details.
• Strong understanding of signal flow, AV system components, connector types, and cable terminations.
• Hands-on experience with leading control and DSP platforms such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, Biamp, and ClearOne.
• Solid understanding of digital video and audio transmission technologies and related protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.

Certifications from leading industry providers are a plus, including:
Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, QSC, ClearOne, Shure, Polycom, Cisco, AVIXA, and AutoCAD.
