Payroll Processing:
Administering payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and reporting.
Maintaining payroll records and systems, including updates and reconciliations.
Managing employee data related to payroll, such as tax information and direct deposit details.
Preparing and submitting payroll tax filings.
Managing garnishments, levies, and other deductions.
Benefits Administration:
Administering employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Answering employee questions about benefits and resolving related issues.
Assisting with employee enrollment, changes, and terminations in benefits programs.
Reconciling benefits invoices and managing vendor relationships.
Staying up-to-date on benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
Other Duties:
Maintaining accurate employee records related to payroll and benefits.
Collaborating with HR, finance, and other departments as needed.
Generating reports and analyzing data related to payroll and benefits.
Implementing and updating procedures related to payroll and benefits.
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in using payroll and benefits software and systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
