IT Support Technician
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified IT Support Technician to troubleshoot, install, and maintain computer systems and networks. We are extremely client-focused and seek candidates with knowledge of computer software, hardware, and internet applications, as well as networks and operating systems. Ideal candidates will have professional communication and interpersonal skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong attention to detail, and outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
Job Duties:
- Experience setting up workstations with computers and peripheral devices (routers, firewalls, switches and printers, etc.)
- Strong network troubleshooting skills are a must
- Install and configure software and applications according to specifications
- Experience troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.)
- Solid understanding of various computer platforms, systems, and networks
- Sound understanding and experience with installing, migrating, troubleshooting, and managing Windows servers
- Solid understanding and experience with administering Active Directory
- Experience with Group Policies
- Current knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy principles
- Experience interacting with clients to troubleshoot, perform upgrades, and provide maintenance with minimal disruption.
Experience:
- At least 3+ years of experience providing network and server support to small businesses is required.
- Small business IT support is a plus.
- All successful candidates will go through background screening and must have a valid driver's license.
- Experience with O365, Active Directory, and SharePoint.
- Experience with Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy.
