Junior Front-End Web Developer
Baltimore, MD

The Jr. Front End Web Developer is part of a team responsible for designing, developing, implementing, updating, and maintaining customized information processing systems. Will help create a new enterprise-level web application. This position reports directly to the Software Architect.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for helping to develop the next iteration of a large web application.
• Design wireframes and user interfaces.
• Implementation: Code designs to requirements and integrations with other systems.
• Testing: Build comprehensive unit tests during development for long-term regression testing and assisting users during user acceptance testing.
• Maintenance: Provide regular system maintenance and enhancements to the systems. Create necessary technical and support documentation.
• Work with a tight-knit and agile team to design, develop, and test an enterprise-level web application.
• Work with Restful services and reporting tools.

Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience programming in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, UI and UX development.
• Proficiency in the ReactJS client side.
• UI/UX Implementation experience.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Ability to create user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces.

Desired Experience:
• MS Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code
• ExtJS/Knockout/Backbone.js/ReactJS o HTML5, LESS, Bootstrap
• Single Page Application Agile/Scrum
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work as both part of a team and independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members.
