Job Description
Our client, a growing healthcare technology company is looking for an IT & Security Analyst to join its Security team. This is a hands-on role with real exposure to identity management, network security tooling, SIEM operations, and security automation.Responsibilities:
- Assist with identity and access management administration, including SSO/MFA configuration, application access assignments, and periodic access reviews.
- Support SIEM operations by querying logs, building dashboards, and tuning detection alerts.
- Help maintain data-loss-prevention policies and triage potential data exfiltration alerts.
- Support web application firewall rule review, false-positive tuning, and traffic analysis.
- Write and maintain scripts (Python/Bash) to automate security and IT workflows such as log analysis, evidence collection, and account hygiene.
- Contribute to AI-assisted and agentic security workflows used to accelerate investigations.
- Support core IT operations including endpoint management and end-user troubleshooting across Mac, Linux, and Windows when needed
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to write and debug scripts in Python or Bash for automating operational tasks.
- Working knowledge of Linux command-line fundamentals and log inspection.
- Understanding of identity and authentication concepts (SSO, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, MFA).
- Solid IT troubleshooting fundamentals across Mac, Windows, and Linux.
