Job Description

Our client, a financial technology firm specializing in electronic trading, is seeking a Liquidity Manager to support its FX trading platform and relationships with market makers and liquidity takers across the Americas. This role combines quantitative trading knowledge, market analysis, and client engagement, requiring a strong understanding of FX market structure, pricing, execution, and liquidity strategies. Candidates with experience on a trading desk, at a high-frequency trading firm, or in a technical trading environment are particularly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily interactions with FX market makers and liquidity takers, building relationships and securing liquidity commitments.

  • Analyze trading data, execution quality, and liquidity performance to optimize the trading experience for platform participants.

  • Work with liquidity providers to improve flow monetization, pricing, and liquidity pool composition.

  • Support technical platform operations, including trading participant mapping, order types, execution workflows, and performance metrics.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients across the Americas, troubleshooting issues and escalating complex matters as needed.

  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify opportunities, increase platform engagement, and support business development initiatives.

  • Educate clients on platform functionality, trading strategies, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in liquidity management, FX trading, electronic trading, or a quantitative trading environment preferred.

  • Strong understanding of trading concepts, including pricing, hedging, execution strategies, anonymous trading, and electronic communication networks (ECNs).

  • Familiarity with FX Spot and Non-Deliverable Forward (NDF) markets is beneficial.

  • Ability to interpret trading data and understand the technical mechanics of electronic trading platforms.

  • Experience at a high-frequency trading firm, on a trading desk, or working closely with market makers and liquidity providers is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with banks, hedge funds, and other institutional participants.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technically sophisticated trading environment.

Compensation & Schedule

This is a full-time position based in New York City, offering a base salary of $92,000–$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The role offers ongoing professional development, mentorship, and performance reviews.
