Sr. Cloud Engineer
Open to US Citizens that hold an Active Top Secret Clearance
Location is onsite in Huntsville, AL

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.

Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash
• Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Terraform or Vault
• Experience with platform-as-a-service technologies, including Kubernetes
• Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions, or 12+ years of experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions in lieu of a degree

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
• Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for GitLab CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
• Experience triaging and resolving issues for both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
• Experience with containerization tools
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with Git or GitLab
• Experience applying cloud security principles
• Experience programming in Python and Java
• AWS Certifications
