Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated ServiceNow Developer to support federal programs through the analysis, development, enhancement, and maintenance of ServiceNow-based solutions and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills, experience working within Agile environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to improve business processes and system performance.
This role requires a blend of program analysis, ServiceNow development, application support, and stakeholder engagement to ensure mission-critical systems operate efficiently and align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and program requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Support the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and workflows.
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow modules, including Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) and Employee Service Center solutions.
- Create and maintain ServiceNow Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Scheduled Jobs, and other platform components.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs to support system interoperability and data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments to deliver enhancements and new functionality.
- Support web application development initiatives utilizing Angular and JavaScript technologies.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Assist with software testing, validation, deployment, and production support activities.
- Analyze and improve business processes associated with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and ServiceNow platforms.
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, status reports, and process documentation.
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Support program management activities including requirements gathering, risk identification, issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ensure compliance with federal policies, security requirements, and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience supporting federal government programs or consulting engagements.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, administration, and platform configuration.

- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and business processes.
- Strong software troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments.
- Experience interacting with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow HRSD implementation or development experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale federal IT modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM), ITIL practices, and workflow automation.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external enterprise systems.
