Job Description
Centurion is hiring a Continuity and Emergency Management Consultant for a long-term federal government position. This is open to US Citizens only. This is onsite in Washington, DC.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to come onsite (FT) in Washington DC.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination.
• 3+ years professional experience supporting emergency preparedness, response, or federal disaster recovery programs
• 3+ year of experience with continuity of operations (COOP) and continuity of government (COG) planning and program concepts such as Business Impact Analysis and Business Process Analysis
• 3+ years of previous experience in one or more of the following areas: emergency management, crisis management, risk management, continuity of operations, business continuity, hazard mitigation, critical infrastructure protection, or resilience
• 3+ years of experience supporting or leading emergency preparedness or response initiatives, including one or more of the following: all hazard or scenario planning; program assessments; risk assessments; exercise planning, evaluation, control, and execution; after action reviews, continuity planning, supporting emergency management response or incident command activities
Preferred Skills:
Very strong preference for experience in federal civil agencies and knowledge of federal continuity directives (FDCs)
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Support development of plans, procedures, and analyses related to continuity of operations, personnel accountability, evacuation and security, and asset risk management.
Expected Deliverables:
•Monthly Status Report By the 5th of each month COR
• Conduct Role-based Training and/or Computer-based training At least Annually COR; All PBGC Personnel
• Update COOP, Emergency Management, & Occupant Emergency Program documentation at least Annually COR
• Occupant Emergency Plan At least Annually COR
• Review/Update Emergency Management procedures and work instructions at least Annually COR
• Produce Exercise-related materials in accordance with FEMA requirements. 30 business days prior to annual EH Exercise COR
• Eagle Horizon After-Action and Lessons Learned Report 30 business days
• Emergency Management and/or occupant emergency incident After-Action Report and Lessons Learned 3 business days following event COR following EH exercise COR
