Job Description

Centurion is currently seeking a Senior Automation Validator to join their team.

Key Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of automation testing, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, Gherkin, API Testing using tools like Rest Assured or Postman.

Position Description:

• Provide technical support and guidance for the development and maintenance of automation artifacts including the automation framework, grid, and automation scripts.
• Conduct both manual and automation testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman.
• Work closely with the integration team to facilitate automation runs in the Integration environment.
• Provide expertise in one or more of the following areas: automation test framework development, development of automation tests using core Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin, execution of automation test suites and documentation of defects.
• All other duties as assigned or directed

Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
• 8+ years of experience with Automation and API testing
• 8+ years of experience on an Agile development team, preferable Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Expertise in using Selenium for web applications and automating regression test cases (Selenium WebDriver).
• Strong experience developing test scripts to implement Features, Test Scenarios and Step-Definition for BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber (Gherkins format) using customized test automation framework
• Experience developing Selenium automation framework using Junit/TestNG frameworks and developing Maven targets to execute automation suites.
• Experience with API Testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman
• Experience with JAVA, JavaScript-based technologies
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile development process and ceremonies including scrums, planning events, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in using Selenium for web applications and automating regression test cases (Selenium WebDriver/Selenium Box).
• Experience with Jenkins Auto jobs, Stash/Bitbucket
• Experience in configuring execution of automated regressions suite using Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience maintaining resources in configuration management tools, such as GitHub repository.
• Experience with Version One management tool
• Automation test results debugging.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience
