Centurion is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Program Coordinator to support the administrative operations of mentorship and engagement initiatives for chemical scientists. This part-time, remote position plays a vital role in helping our client strengthen professional connections across the chemical sciences community.
In this role, you’ll manage communications, coordinate logistics for virtual mentoring sessions, track engagement data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of program processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative, and thrives in a remote, collaborative environment.
Coordinate communications between mentors, mentees, and program staff.
Maintain accurate participant records and update program documentation.
Support scheduling, logistics, and execution of virtual mentoring sessions and events.
Assist with onboarding new mentors and mentees.
Track engagement metrics and prepare summary reports for program leadership.
Respond promptly to participant inquiries and provide excellent customer support.
Collaborate with program staff to refine administrative workflows and documentation.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance program efficiency and participant experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, or a related role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Familiarity with mentorship software platforms is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of data tracking and reporting tools.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
Prior experience in academic, scientific, or nonprofit environments is a plus.
