We are seeking a Workday HCM Operations Analyst to provide hands-on operational support and contribute to the ongoing optimization of our Workday HCM Core functionality. This role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys troubleshooting, configuration, and improving business processes within Workday.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, and IT partners to ensure the stability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of our Workday environment.
Provide day-to-day operational support within the Workday HCM Core area, including production issue resolution, EIB data loads, deployment validation, and inquiry management.
Troubleshoot and resolve production bugs, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Assist team members with release management, including solution testing, validation, and participation in unit and regression testing.
Support Fiscal Year End cutover activities, including configuration updates and validation for HCM Core processes.
Implement and test business process optimization enhancements from the active backlog, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective adoption.
Review and analyze triage backlog items, proposing technical or functional solutions to transition them into active development.
Research, design, and demonstrate new Workday features or functionality to the team for review and potential implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure data integrity, process efficiency, and alignment with HR and organizational goals.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, and reporting.
Experience with EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) loads and data validation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills across functional and technical teams.
Preferred:
Experience supporting additional Workday modules (e.g., Compensation, Absence, Recruiting).
Familiarity with Workday releases, testing cycles, and change management processes.
Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into system or configuration requirements.
