We are hiring a Configuration Manager to support a DoD program in San Antonio, TX. This position is onsite. 

Job Duties:
Manage Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) inventory deliverables and Configuration Management (CM) content libraries.
Author CM processes and procedures while ensuring compliance with customer’s requirements. Perform configuration management audits and produce reports for exception, status and metrics related to CM.
Utilize operational policies, procedures and recognized best practices to ensure the integrity of the Configuration Management System (CMS).
Serve as an Agile Scrum team member providing documentation review for software development and maintenance services for the delivery of releasable software. Ensure documentation activities associated with delivery of software solutions associated with customer-defined systems and software projects are kept updated.
Assist with updating and maintaining the configuration management database as each version of every release is approved for the field.
Communicate with the development team to ensure process, definitions, and metrics are used consistently, and all relevant documentation is updated and available for all team members. Prepare and gather information for review and approval of the upcoming new releases by the Change Control Board (CCB).

Education:
Minimum of 3-10 years experience and a Bachelors Degree is required.
