Job Title: Agile Project Manager
Location: Hybrid – Remote with initial onsite work in Leesburg, VA (NCR candidates preferred)
Start Date: Immediate (ideally by Monday)
Contract Duration: 2 years
Client: U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
Clearance: Can begin work prior to VA Public Trust clearance


Role Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Agile Project Manager to lead a fast-moving Scrum team composed of:

The Agile PM will be responsible for driving delivery of the first release by November 11th, coordinating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups, while ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure sprint discipline across the team
Collaborate closely with engineering and design leads to manage scope and priorities
Track progress toward milestones and proactively identify and resolve blockers
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and ensure transparency
Support onboarding and coordination of new hires (e.g., product manager)
Facilitate initial in-office collaboration in Leesburg, VA, transitioning to remote work thereafter

Qualifications
5+ years of Agile project management experience, preferably in federal or enterprise environments
Proven success delivering web applications in fast-paced settings
Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile best practices
Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering and design
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with AWS and React-based development environments is a plus
