Job Description

Centurion Consulting Groups is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator II with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and NoSQL databases to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our database systems, while also supporting development teams and contributing to strategic database initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases, including Oracle E-Business Suite, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Design, implement, and manage NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra.
• Schedule and apply patches and new software versions as needed.
• Monitor and optimize database performance through tuning and configuration.
• Develop and implement robust backup, recovery, and security strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across all database systems.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Use system management tools to monitor, mitigate, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Provide project plans, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in database administration preferred.
• Proven experience managing Oracle RDBMS and Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra.
• Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and query writing.
• Proficiency in UNIX and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• A degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field is preferred.
• If no degree is held, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
