Job Description
Centurion Consulting Group is currently seeking a skilled and proactive Azure/AVD/Windows Administrator to support the operations and maintenance of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure infrastructure, and Windows-based systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in system and Windows administration, with a passion for optimizing and securing virtual environments. This position requires an active SECRET clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day operations and maintenance (O&M) of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments and associated Azure/Windows servers
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot issues across Azure and Windows systems
Perform routine patching, updates, and configuration management
Administer FSLogix profile containers and related storage configurations
Implement and maintain system monitoring and alerting for performance and availability
Collaborate with teams to script and automate routine tasks
Participate in planning and improvements of AVD architecture and system scalability
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes
Required Skills and Experience:
System Administration – Intermediate
Windows Administration – Intermediate
Proven experience supporting enterprise-level Windows environments and remote desktop solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Core Azure Infrastructure Fundamentals (compute, networking, storage, identity)
Knowledge of AVD Architecture Fundamentals and best practices
Experience with FSLogix profile management
Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills in Azure environments
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell preferred)
- Exposure to AI-driven monitoring or automation tools is a plus

- Travel: < 10% (CONUS)
