Job Description

Centurion is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team in San Antonio. The ideal candidate will have experience with various technologies and tools, and a strong proficiency in at least one programming language. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to build, manage, and deploy applications and containers, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain software applications using one or more of the following technologies:
• Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
• Palo Alto XSOAR
• Kubernetes and container management (building and managing containers, hosting applications)
• Linux (RHEL, Rocky Linux, and/or Ubuntu)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
• Ensure the security and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
• Submit application for Top Secret / SCI clearance within 30 days of starting.

Required Skills:
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong understanding of container management and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL, Rocky Linux, and/or Ubuntu). Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Experience working with git at the command-line.
• Proficiency with Linux CLI and Linux scripting.

Desired Skills:
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Fluent).
• 8140 Certification for software development.

Position Details: 

• Clearance: Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
