Job Description

Centurion Consulting Group is seeking a Strategic HR Business Partner for one of our federal clients for an onsite role in Columbus, MS. 

  • Provide comprehensive HR support within our matrixed organization.
  • As a key partner to our business leaders, you will play a critical role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
  • On-site presence is necessary due to the critical nature of the role.
  • Support the full HR lifecycle for assigned teams, including performance management, compensation, talent development, and employee relations.
  • Advise leadership on talent management strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Culture Steward for driving a culture of belonging
  • Develop and deliver HR programs and training to support employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Stay up to date on employment law and regulations and ensure compliance within the assigned teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing best in class guidance and support on HR-related issues.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal HR partners, including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and HR Operations.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 5+ years of HR experience in roles of progressively increasing scope.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Previous Experience working with manufacturing population.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices across the entire employment lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to partner with business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • 25% Travel required

DESIRED SKILLS

  • SHRM-CP, PHR or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
  • Expertise in coaching leaders at all levels.
