Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced HRIS & Operations Support Specialist for an on - site role in Manassas, VA.  This role is slated till October 2025

  • Provide comprehensive HR operational support, HRIS system management, and implementation support for the SAP S/4HANA migration.
  • HR Operations & Employee Support:
  • Administer and complete employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, status changes, compensation updates, shift modifications, supervisor changes, and terminations.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of HR processes within SAP S/4HANA, identifying process gaps between legacy and new systems, documenting findings, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain accurate and compliant personnel records, ensuring proper documentation and timely updates.
  • Support internal and external HR audits through diligent fact-finding and document verification.
  • Develop and maintain "How-To" guides for HR processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and operational efficiency.• Identify and recommend improvements to streamline processes, emphasizing automation opportunities.
  • HRIS Administration (ADP & SAP)
  • Manage the daily administration of ADP and SAP systems, focusing on accurate data entry, employee transactions, and user access management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating and coordinating with SAP technical support as necessary.
  • Maintain and monitor the employee timekeeping system for accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate and distribute timely HR reports to management, highlighting employee data trends and operational insights
  • SAP S/4HANA Implementation Support (HCM & CATS Modules)
  • Provide critical support during data migration from SAP Business ByDesign to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Actively participate in integration testing phases, validating HR data and functionalities.
  • Assist with change management initiatives by supporting employee adaptation to new HRIS processes and system functionalities.
  • Offer administrative support related to HR-specific configurations, testing, and system transaction validation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Operations or HRIS administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (SAP and ADP preferred)
  • Experience supporting HR processes and transactions throughout the full employee lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially regarding data validation and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to document processes clearly.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance standards and audit practices.
  • Experience developing SOPs and training documentation for HR systems.
