Centurion Consulting Group is looking for an Oracle eBusiness Suite Functional SME for an onsite role in Washington, DC
Required Skills:
- Experience as a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) in implementing modules relating to the functionality of Oracle eBusiness Suite, Financials - Purchasing (PO), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Accounting (PA) and General Ledger (GL).
- Strong implementation background and ability to learn complex accounting processes at a level to enhance, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
- Strong implementation background and ability to solve complex business requirement
- In-depth knowledge of payment processes and methods to include EFT and NACHA requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of the modules to minimize the RICE development and use COTS functionality in designing solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools (preferably VersionOne) and IT Service Management Systems (preferably ServiceNow).
- Expert in Oracle PL/SQL.
- Provide configuration documents
- Expert knowledge in Accounting, desirable.
- Update configuration diagrams and other documentation, desirable
- Utilize an iterative development methodology and attend Agile ceremonies for all work done under this contract. The methodology must allow users to examine the validity and accuracy of the business requirements and to respond to the usability and performance of any new deployments or installs.
- Show a high level of competence in the USPS operating environment.
- Acquires a thorough knowledge of the assigned systems and understands the USPS business processes that support it.
- Provides on-call and after hours support as required to support the production systems.
- As directed by the Software Architect, effectively and proactively work with customers/end users of application(s) to ensure needs are being met / managed in a positive manner.
Preferred Skills: - Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience developing objects and code in Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2.9 - Financials preferred.
Day-to-day Responsibilities: - Performance hours – flexible based on needs of USPS management. The supplier should be able to work nights, at weekends, or holidays as needed.
- The work must be performed according to USPS policies based on the Software Delivery Framework and secure coding practices.
- USPS requires the Supplier to provide resources to support Finance & Payment Technology Services for application and system development, maintenance, and overall technical support as required. The contractor must enhance and support these production applications and create new applications as the need arises.
- Expected Deliverables: The contractor must develop system and user documentation for both existing and newly deployed application software. The contractor must provide the following documentation:
System Documentation
• Training Documentation
• User Documentation - All deliverables will be inspected for content, completeness, accuracy, and conformance to Task Order requirements by the USPS Software Architect or his/her designee. Inspection may include validation of information or software using automated tools and/or testing of the deliverables, as specified in the Task Order.
- The scope and nature of this testing must be negotiated prior to Task Order award and will be sufficiently comprehensive to ensure the completeness, quality, and adequacy of all deliverables.
Education: A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of service is preferred.
