Job Description
Centurion Consulting Group is looking for a Acquisition Contract Specialist to join our team.
Identify opportunities to help adhere to or change the policies that govern the operations of the laboratory. Work with NATO Contracting, Budget, and Finance (BUDFIN) mechanisms to identify the best solution to meet the needs of the laboratory. Track and manage the laboratory software applications and infrastructure to ensure the laboratory is maintaining the environment for agile software development. Collaborate with team members and NATO (BUDFIN) to ensure agile methodologies apply to all product development and enablers as defined during the onboarding process.
Familiar with NATO-specific acquisition publications, regulations, and requirements documents. Understands Agile practices and can translate and creatively utilize its methods in the NATO domain. Experience with managing acquisition and contract strategy. Experience working closely with a cross-functional team. Able to facilitate meetings and ensure expected outcome is met. Able to break down complex problems into small measurable parts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to meet the audience. Promotes modern technologies to inspire teams to achieve creative compliance with the NATO Acquisition Process. Some experience with modern software technologies and cloud-based infrastructure.
University degree with at least 24 semester hours of business or management related courses OR DAWIA certification in Contracting or Acquisition or equivalent. Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Contract/Acquisition related field. Active NATO or DoD SECRET (or higher) security clearance.
