Job Description

Centurion is immediately hiring a UI Automation Tester on a multi-year assignment supporting SSA near Baltimore, MD.  The selected candidate must live within two hours of Woodlawn, MD and willing to go onsite 2 days per week.

Position Description:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using JavaScript.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
• Conduct end-to-end testing, including UI validation, functionality, and performance.
• Utilize testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor for efficient and effective testing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to test automation best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts.
• Experience with Angular and understanding of its components and architecture.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jasmine (for unit testing) and Karma (for test execution).
• Knowledge of Protractor for end-to-end testing of Angular applications.
• Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
