A growing pump repair shop in Southeast Houston, TX area is currently hiring an experienced Manual Machinist to join their team! In this role, the Manual Machinist will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing pumps for refining, chemical, pipeline, power and water industries.

Salary: $32/hr. - $45/hr. DOE

Hours: 4pm-2:30am M-F with availability to work weekends

The perfect Night Shift Manual Machinist for our client will have:

· 5+ years’ running Horizontal Boring Mills performing complex line bore operations
· Must have experience with Lathes and VTL’s
· Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
· Must have experience repairing centrifugal, horizontal, overhung, and split case pumps
· Must be able to perform full machine set up’s
· Must have strong precision measuring skills, and machine shop math skills
