Position Overview
Due to a recent resignation, our established private cardiology practice is seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading cardiovascular group with over 25 years of experience, serving a vibrant community, with a balanced mix of interventional and general cardiology responsibilities.
Practice Highlights
Role: Initial interventional cardiology (IC) volume of 25–50% during a 2–3 month ramp-up, stabilizing at ~50% IC and 50% general cardiology.
Team: Join 15 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers in a collaborative, well-supported environment.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM dedicated to patient care, with ~1.5 hours daily protected administrative time for notes, follow-ups, and coordination.
Weekly split: 3 days outpatient (across two clinic locations, 15 minutes apart), 1.5 days interventional rounds, 0.5 days general rounds.
Call:
Clinic call: 1:5 rotation, plus 1 weekend call per month, with an additional stipend (~$75,000 annually).
Hospital affiliation: Work with a nearby Level II adult trauma center, designated as a Cardiac Interventional Center, featuring a dedicated cardiac ICU (3 minutes from primary clinic).
Clinic: State-of-the-art facilities with NextGen EMR and comprehensive ancillary services, including ECG, echo, stress testing, nuclear stress testing, holter monitoring, vascular studies, in-house Pacer/ICD clinic, imaging, and PET/CT. Plans for future expansion to include an ASC/OBL.
Locations: Outpatient work split between two clinics (15 minutes apart).
Financial Package
Base Salary: Based on experience
Productivity Bonus: wRVU bonus
Track to Partnership: After 3 years, eligible for partnership with profit-sharing, vesting in practice investment units (5-year vesting period), and option to purchase additional shares.
Signing Bonus: $50,000 ($25,000 at start, $25,000 at 1st anniversary).
Additional Incentives: Negotiable educational stipend and student loan assistance.
Malpractice: Claims-made policy provided.
CME: $3,000 annually, 5 days, plus employer-paid licenses, DEA, and professional society memberships.

Candidate Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
