Job Description
Interventional Cardiologist
Location: East TN Greater Knoxville Area
Start Date: 2025 or 2026
Description:
Join a team of 3 Interventional Cardiologists + APPs at a 170-bed hospital, serving a 7-county area in NE Tennessee with a patient draw of 107,000+ annually. Team performs 1,100 cases/year, including 400 interventions.
- 2 dedicated procedure days/week
- Clinic adjacent to hospital with 2 GE Cath Labs
- ER call: 7-8 days/month (APPs take 1st call)
- Services: stress tests, myocardial perfusion imaging, CT angiography
- “STEMI Gold Plus” designated facility
- Opportunity to be the group’s structural provider with elective cases at a nearby sister hospital (2 days/month)
- Oracle Clinical AI Agent for notes, meds, lab review
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $675,000-$725,000 (experience-based)
- Projected Income: $900,000-$1M (wRVU bonus)
