Senior Project Manager – ERP Transformation

Location: Portland, OR – Onsite 5 days per week
Duration: 12-month contract with potential extensions
Experience: Minimum 10 years

Capstone IT is helping our client to hir a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience leading large-scale ERP implementations($100M+), migrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives. This role will oversee complex projects involving Oracle Fusion Cloud and enterprise applications across Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Fusion, SAP, and legacy ERP migrations, with experience managing system integrators, project financials, and cross-functional teams.

**** Candidates with utilities industry experience and who have directly managed an IBM Maximo-to-Oracle Fusion integration or migration will receive priority consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide ERP implementations, migrations, and modernization projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee Oracle Fusion Cloud initiatives involving Financials, HCM, SCM, and EPM modules.
• Manage integrations and migrations from legacy ERP platforms, including SAP, Workday, and other enterprise systems.
• Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and system integrators (SIs).
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and executive-level status reporting using Azure DevOps and Primavera P6.
• Oversee testing, deployment, go-live readiness, and transition to operations.
• Partner with business and technical leadership to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience leading large-scale ERP implementations, migrations, and enterprise transformations.
• 3+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud experience, with knowledge of Financials, HCM, SCM, and EPM modules.
• Experience with SAP, Workday, or other enterprise ERP platforms and cross-system integrations.
• Strong background in project financial management, system integrator oversight, and vendor coordination.
• Experience using Azure DevOps and Primavera P6 for project planning and tracking.
• PMP certification preferred.
