Capstone IT is helping our client find a Full Stack Java Engineer who will design, build, modernize, and support enterprise applications and integrations for Health and Annuity administration systems. This role focuses on developing Java/Spring Boot applications, APIs, and microservices while integrating modern cloud technologies with legacy mainframe systems. You'll work in an Agile environment alongside product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support ongoing modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack Java/Spring Boot applications.
• Build and support REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Integrate modern applications with legacy CAPSIL mainframe systems.
• Develop solutions using AWS cloud services.
• Create automated unit tests and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with business partners, architects, and product owners.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve application defects.
• Contribute to technical design, documentation, and modernization initiatives.
• Deliver secure, scalable, high-performance applications supporting Health and Annuity platforms.

Required

• Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Full-stack application development experience.
• AWS cloud development.
• MuleSoft integration experience.
• REST APIs and microservices.
• TypeScript.
• GitHub, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Copilot.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Unit testing and test automation.
