Capstone IT is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support a large-scale ERP modernization initiative for one of our enterprise clients. This is a fully remote contract opportunity with a collaborative team focused on replacing a legacy ERP platform with a modern enterprise solution.

We're looking for a Project Manager with 6+ years of experience leading complex technical initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude, understands the challenges of enterprise system implementations, and excels at keeping cross-functional teams aligned, accountable, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies for a large ERP modernization effort.
Partner closely with the client's Program Manager and the ERP vendor's Project Manager to ensure successful project execution.
Proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, and potential roadblocks while driving collaborative solutions.
Coordinate activities across technical and business teams to maintain project momentum.
Support a primarily Waterfall delivery model while working effectively with teams using hybrid Agile practices.
Qualifications

6+ years of Technical Project Management experience.
Experience leading enterprise technology projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong organizational, communication, and risk management skills.
Technical background sufficient to understand complex implementation efforts (hands-on technical expertise is not required).
ERP implementation experience is preferred but not required.
Experience working within Waterfall and/or hybrid Agile environments.
