Overview

This role is accountable for supporting complex, cross-functional programs that translate strategic intent into executed outcomes. The position operates at the intersection of business operations, legal, real estate, and organizational change, supporting alignment from executive vision through project execution. This is project management role with a focus on business initiatives, operational readiness, and large-scale transformation efforts. Success requires structure, influence, and the ability to move multiple interdependent efforts forward in parallel without losing clarity or control. This role requires 40% travel (expenses paid/reimbursed) to the client site, located in the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Support

Support the delivery of large-scale, cross-functional programs from concept through completion

Develop and maintain integrated program plans, timelines, and roadmaps across multiple workstreams

Define scope, objectives, success metrics, and value realization in partnership with executive stakeholders

Ensure alignment and coordination across all projects within the broader program

Stakeholder Alignment & Leadership Engagement

Partner closely with lead PM and stakeholders from various levels of the organization to prioritize initiatives and guide decision-making

Establish clear visibility into program goals, timelines, risks, and tradeoffs

Facilitate discussions that drive clarity, alignment, and timely decisions

Execution & Delivery

Coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, real estate, HR, finance, legal and related functions

Monitor progress against milestones and hold teams accountable for delivery

Manage dependencies across multiple interrelated initiatives

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives

Financial & Resource Management

Support development of business cases, financial impact assessments, and resource planning

Track budgets, resource allocation, and overall program investment

Align program execution with measurable business value

Change Management

Support change management planning and execution across initiatives

Drive communication, stakeholder alignment, and adoption strategies

Minimize disruption while enabling new processes and ways of working

Risk & Issue Management

Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the program

Manage issues with urgency and escalate when appropriate

Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining forward momentum

Communication & Reporting

Own program communication strategy across all levels of the organization

Deliver clear, consistent updates tailored to executive and operational audiences

Maintain transparency across progress, risks, and outcomes

Process Improvement

Introduce structure, tools, and governance where needed to improve delivery

Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness across program execution

Standardize planning, reporting, and coordination practices where beneficial

Qualifications

8+ years of project and/or program management experience in business or operations environments

Proven experience supporting complex, multi-workstream programs with executive visibility

Experience supporting real estate, facilities, or location-based initiatives preferred

Demonstrated ability to manage interdependent projects as a cohesive program

Strong understanding of change management principles and execution

Advanced skills in planning, risk management, and stakeholder alignment

Experience developing business cases, managing budgets, and tracking value realization

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization

Ability to operate with autonomy, manage ambiguity, and drive accountability without direct authority

Preferred

Experience supporting large-scale organizational or operational transformations

Familiarity with enterprise systems or large program environments

PMP, PgMP, or similar certification
