Senior Business Analyst  

Location: Onsite; Omaha, NE

Terms: 12-month contract; probable extensions

Capstone IT Staffing is helping our client to hire a Senior Business Analyst to lead the design, support, and optimization of enterprise applications across finance, supply chain, and operations. This role partners with business leaders and IT teams to deliver solutions that improve processes, enhance reporting, and align technology with strategic goals.

Please note that this role is onsite in Omaha, Nebraska.  Local candidates will be given first preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business process analysis and define system requirements.
• Manage and enhance ERP financials, project accounting, budgeting, and reporting tools.
• Drive system improvements, oversee change requests, and deliver reporting solutions.
• Lead projects from scope to delivery, ensuring budgets, schedules, and outcomes are met.
• Act as a liaison between IT and business leaders, while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in business analysis, systems implementation, or IT project management.
• Strong experience with Oracle E-Business(required), financial systems, and reporting and visual tools (Lync, Visio).
• Experience with UI Planner and MS Project.
• Experience with PowerPlant is a plus.
• Proficiency with SQL, data warehousing, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
