Capstone IT, Inc. is looking to fill a Java Developer position in Omaha, NE (may telecommute).

The Java Developer position plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications utilizing Java, Java Server Faces, Hibernate, Angular or Angular JS, JavaScript, RESTful API’s, Spring Framework, XML, and JUnit. The ideal candidate will have a background in Java development with a strong background in Angular and REST API’s.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in software development or a related occupation. Alternatively, will accept 6 years of experience in software development or a related occupation.

Experience must include the following:

• 4 years of experience utilizing the following technical skills: Java, Hibernate, RESTful API’s, Spring Framework.
• 2 years of experience utilizing the following technical skills: Java Server Faces, Angular or Angular JS, JavaScript, XML, and JUnit.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
