We are hiring a Corporate Tax Manager for a global leader in the industrial minerals and logistics industry

In this role as a Corporate Tax Manager, you will assist with all aspects of the tax function for a growing publicly traded organization that is steadily growing internationally.

Corporate Tax Manager Job Functions:

• Assist with coordination and review of federal and state income tax compliance, including collecting and providing data for 3rd party tax preparers
• Assist with quarter-end and annual tax provision for audit firm review, including percentage depletion calculation and prep of tax account roll forwards
• Prepare various transaction tax returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
• Coordinate with and support other company personnel throughout all businesses to respond to inquiries and requests for information
• Research, interpret, and follow state, local, and federal tax laws and regulations
• Assist with maintaining and leading tax-related internal controls, including assisting with updating internal controls as needed
• Assist with the preparation of responses to tax authorities and provide support with handling tax audits
• Maintain fixed assets in fixed asset software, including preparation of tax depreciation
• Maintain tax calendar
• Maintain Tax Reform technical knowledge as it pertains to our structure by leading current developments and changes to tax laws
• Assist with due diligence for potential acquisitions, when appropriate
• Special projects as assigned

​​​​​​​Corporate Tax Manager Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting: Master’s in Taxation preferred
• CPA license
• 6+ years of tax experience preferably in a combination of Public and industry
• Experience completing corporate and/or partnership tax returns
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; JDE a plus
• Work independently and in a team
