Company Overview:

This company is a leader in the distribution of games, calendars, and household toys.

Job Purpose:

As a member of our Distribution team, the Order Picker Operator is responsible for the safe movement of products within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the Order Picker up to a height of 22 feet.
• Follow procedures as outlined.
• Inform the supervisor of issues related to the Order Picker and health and safety hazards.
• Handle material, including lifting, moving, and pushing boxes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Valid Order Picker/Cherry Picker License and Fall Arrest Training.
• Not afraid of heights.
• Possess some computer knowledge.
• Able to perform heavy lifting.
• Engage in physical labor, including reaching, lifting, carrying, bending, and walking/stairs.
• Carry out repetitive tasks.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Count, read, and understand directions.
• Possess attention to detail/numbers required.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Seasonal position: Starting ASAP and ending on December 17th, 2022.
• Full-time hours with overtime available.
• Work in a large warehouse setting with forklifts, reach trucks, and conveyor systems.
• Warehouse can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
• Steel-toed shoes are required.
• A clear criminal record check is required.
