We are currently hiring an experienced Tax Accountant Manager for a family owned and operated accounting firm in Bloomfield Hills, MI. In this role you will take on many important responsibilities within the accounting firm. As a key member of the tax department leadership, you will assume a strategic role with a high level of client relationship management, tax oversight, and team development. Tax Accountant Manager Responsibilities

• Review of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Review of financial statements
• Tax planning
• Team oversight, training, and development
• Participates and contributes to firm wide strategic planning

Tax Accountant Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accounting or closely corresponding field with minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Hold current and valid Certified Public Accountant’s license and member in good standing with AICPA.
• 2 years’ experience as a Tax Manager
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills
• Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
• Demonstrates independent thinking and strong decision-making skills
• Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise managers and senior associates in a wide variety of industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Ultratax CS, Practice CS and QuickBooks
• Will provide H1-B sponsorship to qualified and eligible candidates
• MUST be local to Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304 with reliable transportation to commute and work onsite daily
