Work Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
$28 - $30/HR Average 8 hours per day
Location: Brampton, ON
Job Duties:
Follow production drawings, build summaries, and assembly instruction sheets, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Work closely with other departments with respect to design, build, and troubleshooting of prototype machines Use cutting tools, equipment, and hand and power tools to accomplish assembly tasks Assembles machinery and components, smaller subassemblies, etc. Practice proper mechanical assembly procedures i.e.: applying appropriate torque setting to all fasteners, etc. Perform inspections of assemblies and subassemblies during the building of the machines, and a complete inspection of the machines prior to commissioning
Requirements:
4-5 years of mechanical assembly experience is required Strong knowledge in blueprint reading, pneumatics, mechanical assemblies, and precision alignment Must have the ability to do physical labour
