Responsibilities:
• Produce asphalt emulsion and asphalt cutback products
• Complete basic quality control tests
• Document production/inventory, quality control results, maintenance items etc.
• Load and unload asphalt cement, asphalt emulsion, and asphalt cutback tankers
• Package asphalt products
• Clean and organize plant and yard and equipment
• Operate forklift and skid steer to transfer, load, and organize materials at the plant
• Shifts may involve day and night work
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or college diploma in a related discipline
• 3 years of heavy equipment operating (skid steer, front end loader, forklift)
• 3 years experience working with asphalt
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver`s License
• Comfort in working in a rugged outdoor environment
• Experience with an ERP system (JD Edwards) will be an asset
