Capital Staffing Solutions is currently seeking Class 5 Drivers to join our team! As a Waste Collection Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting solid waste, yard waste, and recyclables.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Loading solid waste, yard waste and/or recyclables into the rear or side of the waste collection vehicle.

• Operating the truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver-induced mechanical failures.

• Maintaining route quality standards as predetermined by management.

In addition to holding a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record, you should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment. You must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs.

Work Hours:

• Full-time opportunity

• Monday to Friday

• Start time: 7:00 am

• Average 10/12 hours a day

Location: Delta, BC

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record

• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to work in all weather conditions

• Must have steel-toed work boots above the ankle and a high visibility vest
