We have IMMEDIATE openings for experienced full time CDL Truck Drivers in Port Huron, MI for a waste and recycling management company.  In this role you will provide local waste and recycle removal services to residential neighborhood customers on predefined routes, and transport collection to disposal facility for proper disposal. CDL Truck Driver Job Responsibilities

• Operating a Garbage or Recycle truck as a single loader/operator
• Responsible for various types of residential curbside pickup for garbage, yard waste, organics and recycling
• Daily pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Provide friendly and reliable service while completing daily routes as assigned
• Preform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs, from the ground into the hopper
• Collect and deliver waste to local transfer stations and landfills

CDL Truck Driver Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid CDL A or B license and Air Brake Endorsement
• Clean driving records (DOT and MVR)
• A minimum of 1 year verifiable heavy truck driving experience
• Must be physically fit and able to lift 50-60 lbs repetitively
• Ability to work in all weather conditions including humidity, rainy/stormy, extreme hot and cold weather conditions (depending on season), windy, etc.
• Must have steel-toed work boots above the ankle
• Prior waste management experience is a plus not required
