What Youll Do
Architect, engineer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks (multi-vendor but Cisco-heavy, multi-site, dense with technology). This includes network security.
Lead root cause analysis for outages and performance issues.
Engaging teams with other expertise on relevant projects and systems.
Communicate issues clearly to teammates and leadership and collaborate on resolution.
Mentor less-senior engineers and technicians.
Tech Knowledge / Skills
Deep understanding of layer 4 and below
Expertise and experience with an array of the hardware/software that are primarily associated with those layers: Route/switch, Firewalls, VPNs, SDN, and plenty more. Depth and breadth are both desired, but there is no expectation of ubiquity (or necessarily Ubiquiti)
Requirements
8+ years network engineering experience in secure/cleared environments
Active TS clearance
Professional certification required; Expert-level preferred (CCIE, JNCIE, etc)
Experience with progressive responsibilities that amount to senior
