ONTAP FAS/AFF/C-series -- approx 80 on-prem nodes -- ONTAP 9.15.1+ Amazon FSxN -- small footprint, but looking for opportunities to grow -- Automation via Ansible NetApp Console Data Infrastructure Insights (DII, formerly OCI/CI) -- currently only using SRA plugin functionality – this may go away if Cox Auto transitions away from VMware SnapCenter Server for SQL + Oracle backups and SnapCenter Plugin for VMware (SCV) for VM backups VMware (current)/OpenNebula (future) hypervisor environments -- NetApp Shift toolkit for migration -- current large SRM/SRA environment with vSphere – they are currently in a POC to test OpenNebula as a VMware replacement StorageGRID -- 24 on-prem SG5712 nodes in 2 sites -- 100% used for fabricpool currently – very little maintenance required (mostly just upgrades) -- Extensive compute/networking/infrastructure integration -- skills not critical at this point AIQUM + Harvest (NAbox) – all alerting/paging comes from AIQUM, and they are currently transitioning this mechanism over to ServiceNOW for incident creation. NetApp OTV Primary Duties: 1. Participation on "pipeline" team responsible for implementing changes, including tech refresh, upgrades, configuration changes, new feature implementations (i.e. MFA, MAV, etc.). 2. Fielding ad hoc requests from various storage team members for their active projects. This can range from simple queries to complex troubleshooting, datacenter migrations, or other large projects.
