Sr. Account Executive

Role Requirements (education, skills, experience, Tech Stacks)

● Bachelor's Degree ● 5+ years of Enterprise SaaS or PaaS sales experience. Experience selling and closing complex technical solutions in Pharma QC manufacturing, cell-gene therapy/biotech. ● Top-achieving Account Executive in the SaaS Enterprise sales model with proven success in navigating top of funnel activity & prospecting while effectively managing a complex sales cycle (approximately 3 months) to a successful close. ● An understanding of Biotech/Research labs, Independent clinical diagnostic labs, cell-gene therapy labs and Healthcare systems (Epic, Cerner) and healthcare interoperability (HL7/FHIR/Direct Secure Messaging/XDR) ● Experience creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process aligned with our team framework. ● Quick learner focused on organization, communication, and problem-solving. ● Highly motivated, competitive, and passionate team player ● Proven track record of achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline & sales quotas ● Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills ● Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills ● The ability to effectively communicate and adapt to rapidly changing environments is a must. ● Desire to be coached, trained, and mentored towards a successful software sales career Experience selling integrations and applications to the healthcare vertical. ● An understanding of Research/Laboratory/Healthcare systems (Epic, Cerner) and healthcare interoperability (API, HL7/FHIR/Direct Secure Messaging/XDR) ● Experience with new customer acquisition, driving new revenue, and managing 10-15 deals. You know how to partner with marketing and do your own prospecting. ● Experience creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process aligned with our team framework.

● Experience in genomics/biotech/manufacturing/bioinformatics/laboratory science ● Experience working in Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoom info

Role Responsibilities and Accountability

● You will bring a background in selling software solutions within the healthcare industry, preferably with API, PaaS and SaaS solutions. ● Experience navigating a complex sales cycle from start to finish, leveraging internal resources within the sales organization, cross-functionally with the customer success team and externally across customer and partner ecosystems ● Strong presentation skills for delivering in-person and virtual presentations to LAB & IT audiences, highlighting your ability to perform client discovery, communicate ROI and build business value ● Working in a team environment, you’ll source prospects, develop opportunities for Semaphore’s Bioinformatics Platform (LIMS) to new accounts through outbound efforts (email, phone), as well as other marketing campaigns. ● Maintains a detailed understanding of customer decision makers and influencers, builds and preserves customer relationships to leverage in driving new sales and protecting base business. ● Identifies opportunities or acts upon previously identified opportunities to prepare and deliver an account-specific Semaphore-Labbit LIMS value proposition, resulting in positive action. ● Partner with Marketing to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas ● Identify key decision makers within new accounts ● Document activities accurately in HubSpot, Salesforce
