Products Overview
TIBCO Mainframe Integration and solutions are built and designed for the IBM z Series and integrates with other TIBCO’s application and integration platforms as well as non TIBCO environments. It supports most of the traditional mainframe products and environments. TIBCO’s mainframe integration offerings today are largely a Zero-Code, configuration and API first approach to planning, designing and implementing business applications. There is no coding required to establish interactions with TIBCO off-host applications. create an API contract and even turn it into a mock application to allow outside developers to start writing their applications without waiting for the internal developers to finish the entire business logic. It allows you to build and connect applications from your environments and it is powered by the same TIBCO DNA that has been allowing companies to integrate their applications for many decades and the same TIBCO DNA that allows customers to serve over a billion transactional interactions done per day.
Role Overview for the Principal Systems Software Engineer for System Z
The required Principal Systems Software Engineer’s would be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and performance tuning of IBM System Z environments. Proven ability to deliver high system availability and robust security by managing critical software, performing complex problem resolution, and implementing effective disaster recovery strategies. Skilled in modernizing mainframe operations through automation and integrating with open-source tools. They are to oversee the activities for the mainframe integration staff, and execution of all IBM and related 3rd party products executing on System Z.
