Principal Consultant, Enterprise Security Work Location - Any location in Québec Position Overview: Principal Consultant (Bilingual French-English)

The primary role of the Principal Consultant, M365 and Azure Security involves assisting our clients in safeguarding their entire digital landscape, minimizing the risk of security breaches, fostering digital trust, and expediting cloud adoption. You will own the end-to-end Security, Compliance, Identity, Management and Privacy customer engagements (spanning Microsoft 365 and Azure), including architecture, implementation, and production. Reporting to a Managing Principal Consultant, the successful candidate, based in Quebec, Canada will join a world class Professional Services organization team delivering enterprise level solutions with focus on customer satisfaction, project timelines, and deliverables. This will be achieved by providing in-depth technical consulting, analysis, and implementation services for Compugen clients. Strong written and verbal communication in French and English is a requirement for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable customers on their journey to adopt Azure and Microsoft 365 Security by assisting them in establishing a secure strategy, architecture, and implementation of essential security controls that align with Microsoft Security Services, such as Threat Protection, Monitoring, Cloud Security, and Identity and Access Management.
  • Consulting with clients on the planning, design, testing and implementation of industry-wide accepted cyber security principles, practices, and information systems via discovery sessions with technical and business stakeholders in an end-to-end implementation using technologies such as Microsoft 365 Defender, Azure Defender for cloud, Secure Score in M365 and Azure, Network Security, Sentinel, and Entra AD, Identity and vulnerability management, among others.
  • Manage client stakeholders and lead pre-sales activities with developing and presenting Proof of Concept to the clients.
  • Participate in business development, including proposals, client presentations, and marketing events. Assist in creating new solution packages.
  • Maintain deep understanding of endpoint management technologies and collaboration tools such as TrendMicro, Sophos, CrowdStrike, Sentinel One, Microsoft MECM (SCCM), Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Defender for Endpoint, Cloud workloads Protection, ASR, EDR, NGP etc.
  • Provide data protection solutions using Purview and other tools such as DLP, Insider Risk Management, Information Protection, sensitivity labels and related tools.
  • Serve as an advisor in the assessment, planning and implementation of new features and capabilities.
  • Improve internal efficiency and customers productivity by finding opportunities to optimize existing processes and tools.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Office 365 and related core technologies and administration. Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer facing skills with strong verbal, written, and listening skills, professionalism, confidence, business case analytical skills, presentation skills, and time management skills
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in identifying security issues, risks, compliance, development of remediation plans, including development of risk mitigation plans
  • Proficiency in French is a mandatory requirement for this position
  • Desirable certifications include recognized security and cloud-specific certifications, e.g., CCSP, SSCP, CISSP, CISM, CDPSE, ISP
  • Experience EDR, XDR, with 5+ years enterprise experience
  • Experience with Azure Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Security Stack
  • Knowledge of security standards and regulations (NIST CSF, ISO 27K, CIS, CCM, SOC2)
  • Highly self-motivated and detailed oriented.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment effectively prioritize, and execute on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with business and technical stakeholders: enabling and supporting successful project and/or strategy delivery
