Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer / Architect to join our team and focus on Data Integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated bidirectional API integration solutions, along with a deep understanding of Snowflake and SQL; deep experience with SnapLogic is a plus. As a Data Engineer / Architect, you will play a key role in architecting and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient data integration solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives related to data integration and analytics.
- Design, develop, and implement SnapLogic pipelines to integrate various data sources with Snowflake and between various applications.
- Architect scalable and efficient data integration solutions using SnapLogic platform.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team on best practices for SnapLogic development.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing SnapLogic pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SnapLogic pipelines to enhance overall system performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for SnapLogic configurations, workflows, and integration processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in SnapLogic and Snowflake technologies. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Proven experience as an Integrations Architect/Developer, including building complex pipelines from scratch that include bidirectional data migration
- Strong understanding of Snowflake data warehousing platform and experience with Snowflake integration.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel advanced functionalities (pivot tables, ODBC integration, VBA scripting) a plus.
- Experience with Power BI and data connectivity, specifically with connecting a data warehouse (like Snowflake) to a BI tool in a live/refreshable manner.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and API integrations for data source connectivity and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Passionate dedication to data accuracy and integrity.
- Understanding of data privacy and security principles, particularly in data warehousing and business intelligence contexts, is a plus.
- Experience, familiarity, or interest in the real estate industry is a plus.
